EVIC Projects

• EVIC / Reed College Local Election Official Survey Project: This project focuses on the beliefs, attitudes, and career profiles of the more than 8,000 local election officials nationwide, helping to amplify and elevate their voices in national and regional debates over election integrity and reform.
• Oregon Elections Office Staffing Study: A deep dive into the staffing and workforce challenges faced by clerks in the State of Oregon. This report, prepared for the Secretary of State’s Division of Elections details how Oregon’s elections clerks have navigated a rapidly changing political and administrative environment and makes policy recommendations for the future.
• Stewards of Democracy Initiative: The Stewards of Democracy Initiative (SDI) is a multi-pronged collaborative research effort of the Elections & Voting Information Center at Reed College consisting of webinar conversations, a cross-sector book publication, and a research convening of election science academic researchers, local election official practitioners, and other election community stakeholders.
